Reflection:
The biggest challenge when coming up with the list was trying to stay cognizant of the things that bug me. Going through the day, it is very easy for me to forget or blow-off the things I do not like because I have grown to be numb to a lot of them. After about bug 7, I hit a wall and could not figure out what else bugged me. I put the assignment on hold and decided to keep a keen eye on what would make me stressed or aggravated. As I did that I realized there are a lot of things that bug me. Most of them happened to be very mild inconveniences. There were not a lot of things that hindered me from moving forward in my day, but there were bugs that slowed down my day. Reflecting on the assignment, I have realized that the mild inconveniences are things that could be made into the easiest solutions. They may be simple fixes, but attack the small stuff will make a world of difference.

Comments

  1. Mitchell, I completely agree with the line at the UF bookstore. It seems like only when I really need to buy something at the bookstore's 1st floor, or I'm buying a clothing item from the 2nd floor the lines seem to be ginormous! I try and rent my books from Amazon when I can.

  2. Mitchell,

I noticed that many of your bugs are some that bug me as well. It makes me wonder if the reason these things bother us so much is because we live alot of the same lifestyle. Being young and in college, our bugs may differ from things that bug our parents or our grandparents. I liked how many of your bugs were short and to the point, as where mine I felt like I rambled alot through my bugs

  3. I found I hit the same wall around bug 10. It's interesting how so many of your bugs relate to your dorm. I have not lived in one for a few years now, so I forgot how frustrating life could be while living in one. While some bugs are universal, your list certainly proves how big of an effect your environment has on you.
